Lift station maintenance in Fort Pierce

For HOA boards, condo associations, property managers, and commercial buildings whose wet well, pumps, or controls are private. Not a residential septic tank pump-out, and not a Fort Pierce Utilities Authority ticket for FPUA-owned sewer.

Public sewer vs. private stations

Fort Pierce Utilities Authority (FPUA) Wastewater Collection operates and maintains the public wastewater collection system serving the City of Fort Pierce and sections of unincorporated St. Lucie County. FPUA’s published Wastewater Collection page describes a Lift Station Division with 116 lift stations, about 91 miles of force mains (4 to 24 inches), 104 air releases, and 504 force main valves, plus a continual preventative maintenance program on those utility-owned stations.

FPUA’s Collection Division also publishes figures for more than 14,700 customers, about 180 miles of gravity mains, 22 miles of service lines, and 5,100 manholes. City and FPUA materials describe a broader conveyance rebuild that redirects flows toward a new Mainland Water Reclamation and Reuse Facility (Phase 1 plant work celebrated in early 2026, with Phase 2 conveyance and lift-station work continuing). Those FPUA stations and mains are public infrastructure.

Private community and commercial lift stations (the ones an HOA, condo association, property manager, or building owner still owns) are a different crew. If the alarm is on a private wet well, pumps, or control panel in Fort Pierce or nearby St. Lucie County, call (561) 320-1924.

FPUA publishes Outage/Trouble as (772) 466-7703 for utility-system issues on FPUA-owned lines and stations. That number is not for private HOA or commercial station maintenance booked through PumpRoster.
