Lift station maintenance in Port St. Lucie

For HOA boards, condo associations, property managers, and commercial buildings whose wet well, pumps, or controls are private — not a residential septic tank pump-out, and not a City of Port St. Lucie utility ticket.

Public sewer vs. private stations

Port St. Lucie runs on centralized sewer in much of the city. Public materials from City of Port St. Lucie Utility Systems describe more than 300 wastewater lift stations and about 1,300 miles of sewer main across a service area covering the city and parts of unincorporated St. Lucie County. The city’s Instrumentation & Controls division publishes figures for 304 lift stations and hundreds of commercial grinder systems. Those city-owned stations are the city’s job.

St. Lucie West is a Chapter 190 community development district in western Port St. Lucie (roughly 4,600 acres). St. Lucie West Services District public pages describe a network of about 53 wastewater pump stations that feed a 2.6 MGD wastewater plant. District and city stations are public infrastructure.

Private community and commercial lift stations — the ones an HOA, condo association, property manager, or building owner still owns — are a different crew. If the alarm is on a private wet well, pumps, or control panel, call (561) 320-1924.

City sewer emergencies for city-owned systems are handled by Port St. Lucie Utility Systems (public line published as 772-873-6400). That number is not for private HOA or commercial station maintenance booked through PumpRoster.

Two trades, one number

Treasure Coast Infrastructure (tcifl.com) handles underground utilities, sanitary sewer, and lift-station maintenance. Bismark Electric (bismarkfl.com) handles lift-station electrical — control panel, pumps, and floats. Both publish (561) 320-1924. Neither is a residential septic pumper.

Who this Port St. Lucie page is for

  • HOA and condo boards with a private community lift station
  • Property managers for communities or commercial sites
  • Commercial building and site managers
  • Anyone whose problem is the private wet well, pumps, or controls — not a gravity septic tank and not a city-owned station

The city also publishes a septic-to-sewer conversion program for homes still on tanks. That program is municipal. This page is for community and commercial lift-station work.
